Steno - Court Reporting Agency
Steno—reliable court reporting with a revolutionary approach.

About Us
I'm Alex Kern, Account Executive for Steno in Georgia. What drew me to Steno was simple: it's not a traditional court reporting company; it was built to make litigation more efficient and to widen access to justice. That mission actually shows up in how we operate day to day, not just in a mission statement.
For personal injury firms, that means things like DelayPay, which lets firms defer payment on court reporting costs until a case resolves — a real relief on cash flow during long-running contingency matters. Across the board, firms get a Firm Dashboard for centralized case, transcript, and invoice management, Transcript Genius for AI-powered transcript search, and Steno Connect for seamless exhibit handling during Zoom depositions. Underneath all of it is a deep bench of certified reporters across the Southeast, so scheduling coverage is rarely the bottleneck it can be elsewhere.
What makes Steno different, in my experience, is the hospitality mindset baked into the culture. We treat client service as the differentiator, not an afterthought, paired with genuine investment in the technology side of the business.
On a personal note: before Steno, I spent 14 years as a litigation paralegal, so I've sat on the other side of the table coordinating depositions, chasing down transcripts, andvmanaging exhibits under deadline pressure. That experience is exactly why I take the Firm Dashboard and Transcript Genius pitch personally; I know firsthand what it's like when those tools don't exist. I come from a background that spans healthcare and legal, and I'm especially passionate about building real relationships rather than transactional vendor relationships. Sponsoring TPIC has been a great way to stay close to the legal community here in Atlanta and build on those connections.
