Johnny McCutcheon was introduced to custom-made clothing over two decades ago, and it ignited a passion that he knew would ultimately lead to starting his own business in the industry. In 2012, Johnny pivoted from a successful career in insurance to establish JMac’s Clothiers. Today, JMac's has expanded to two locations, a concept store in Watkinsville, GA and an appointment only studio near downtown Athens, GA. JMac’s Clothiers was founded out of a desire to offer every client a custom clothing experience that not only levels up their wardrobe but also aims to instill a sense of confidence. The first tagline for JMac’s was “Dress with confidence. Make your statement.” Johnny has lived this motto throughout his life, whether wearing his uniform on the field with pride or dressing in a suit for a game changing meeting in his career. He’s always known that the way one wears their clothes is more important than the clothing itself. From that origin, the JMac's team focuses on building relationships with our clients so that they trust us to build a wardrobe that reflects who they are and enables them to “dress with confidence.” Our clients range from the person looking to elevate their weekend casual wear to the professional who dons a suit daily.
