About Us
Dr. Harper previously held academic and leadership roles at Emory University School of Medicine, where he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology for seven years. He also served as Department Chief at Grady Memorial Hospital for two years before transitioning into private practice.
His clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of complex pain conditions, including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine pain, neuropathic pain, and joint-related disorders. Dr. Harper performs a wide range of image-guided procedures, including:
• Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar facet joint interventions
• Radiofrequency ablation (rhizotomy)
• Spinal cord stimulation and neuromodulation
• Sacroiliac joint injections
• Major joint injections (shoulder, hip, knee)
• Minimally invasive nerve blocks for headache and neuropathic pain
He is also licensed to manage opioid use disorder with buprenorphine therapy and provides comprehensive pain management, including non-interventional medical treatment when indicated. Additionally, Dr. Harper offers regenerative medicine therapies for patients with osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease, joint injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain.
Dr. Harper currently oversees five interventional pain clinics in Georgia, located in Roswell, Virginia Avenue (Atlanta), Decatur, Lawrenceville and Stockbridge. His multidisciplinary approach ensures timely, evidence-based care for patients referred by physicians, surgeons, and legal professionals.
Dr. Harper’s office is open on Saturdays and we proudly offer care in both English and Spanish! 🌟
We also provide telemedicine visits and, in many cases, can accommodate same-day appointments — because we know life doesn’t always go according to schedule.
